The history of presets has been a bit rocky and just how it should work
a bit up in the air.  Lately I have considered this top priority and
have been working on support built in to Lilv for hosts to easily
support all preset and state loading/saving functionality.  I suggest
testing with jalv[1] and reporting any problems here or in my tracker[1]
