Right.

As you said, it probably doesn't matter as long as everyone agrees,
but... the same would apply to using PROGRAMFILES.  I find it really
strange there is no user-specific equivalent.

(... well, strange, but not surprising, given how much of an utterly
confusing mess all of this is)
