[LV2] Updating the controls of generic user interface

Just dug out an old conversation from 2018:

Hanspeter described a way for a bi-directional communication of controls 
via lv2:Parameter & Patch and mentioned that not many hosts support 
these features. Which (common) hosts support this and which are known to 
make problems?
