AFAIK Rui's issues were fixed in patches he submitted which have since
been incorporated into Suil.

I am very far from a Qt expert and never claimed Suil's original
implementation was perfect - merely that it's the place for the perfect
solution to go.  Better to solve these hairy things once for everybody
than have tens of half-assed broken implementations everywhere.  That's
the whole point.
