[LV2] Modulation matrix in LV2 synth plugin

Hi.

I am planning to write a soft synth using the LV2 API and I wonder if
anyone could suggest how to handle a modulation matrix.

Should the modulation matrix be exposed via ports in the LV2 plugins or
just be stored in presets?
