I am partial to the name "bang" for this style of event.

Note your documentation markup is old, you should use lv2:documentation
without a datatype tag.

Also, you are supposed to ask before using anything in the
lv2plug.in/ns/ext namespace, it's not a complete free-for-all :P

The extension seems fine, though maybe a little too narrow in scope...
